2011 ANNUAL REPORTNATIONAL LIFE GROUP

This year, National Life Group released a digital version of their annual report for the first time. Part of the appeal to a digital report is being able to add video content to supplement the text and photos. In total, we created eight videos that are embedded throughout. Take a look at Nation Life Group's 2011 Annual Report here.

THE AUTOMASTER EXPERIENCEAUTOMASTER HONDA

The Automaster has been offering high end service and high end cars for almost half a century. They came to us wanting to create a :30 spot that would maintain their high end reputation, but would also showcase the approachable pricing at their Honda dealership. The commercial also had to be modular so that we can easily update it to the current deal that Honda is offering.

FLAT FEE SAVESFLAT FEE REAL ESTATE

Rightside has been working with Flat Fee to create their spots for the past several years. Until now, we have stuck to a very successful animated campaign. Ready to branch out to other mediums, we worked with Flat Fee to create the concept for this testimonial based commercial. Because Flat Fee offers an unconventional service, we wanted to deliver a message that left the viewer coming away intrigued by Flat Fee's services and wanting to find out more. To do this, we concluded that the best way is to show off the staggering amount of money Flat Fee's clients save when compared to using a traditional Real Estate service.

PAINTING IT PLAID: THE JAQUIER BARNCABOT CHEESE

Rightside teamed up with Driven Studio to document the transformation of the Jaquier Barn on the Laurelbrook Farm in East Canaan, Connecticut. The crew from Driven used Cabot's signature plaid from their Seriously Sharp Cheddar to give the barn a fresh look. The painting team, lead by renowned artist Abby Manock, transformed the barn in two days. Rightside was there to capture the overhaul with time lapse photography and video.

Rightside and Line teamed up again this year to create the 2012 Line Skis product videos. The 2011 product videos that we created were a huge success, generating over 1 million views.

This past February we spent a week in Utah with the entire Line team. Alex O'Brien was shooting photos, Shane McFalls was shooting video of the action and Rightside was on point with athlete interviews. The weather was all over the place, but we made the best of it. We had rain, snow, tons of wind and finally some sun. It was a very productive week of product testing, feedback and development.

This summer we worked with Line to edit the athlete interviews into 27 product videos. We combined the interviews with action footage from Level 1, Poor Boyz, Nimbus Independent and Meathead Films. Infinite Landscape created all the graphic animations.

The final episode of our East Cost splitboard web series launched in mid-July. It was a great end to the season on the East Coast and we were able to ride well into May. Even with the summer release, Episode 3 was able to rack up a respectable amount of views. In total, Season 1 of the DTK series racked up over 21,000 loads. Not bad considering how small of a niche market East Coast backcountry snowboarding is.

Keep your eyes peeled for a lot more from us this winter!
THE LIFT STORYLIFT COMMUNITIES

LIFT's mission is to combat poverty and expand opportunity for all people. To help spread their message, LIFT came to Rightside to create an all encompassing informational video about LIFT Communities. With visits to their offices in Chicago, Philadelphia and Washington, DC we interviewed volunteers, site managers and every day people who benefit from LIFT's services. The success of these videos can only be summed up by LIFT's Director of Development:

"We debuted the LIFT video last night at our annual benefit in New York City to ~300 of our supporters. Two words: holy cow. The quality of the video, the production, the story, the message – gosh, it made SUCH a difference to giving LIFT that professional look while also telling our story." ~ Amy Baker
