We Can!
Mad River Glen was one of the first ski resorts to allow snowboarding back in the 80's. Since then, snowboarding has been banned and the MRG faithful have enjoyed a close minded, shredless mountain. With that in mind, Brett and Joe thought they would try to expose MRG to snowboarding so they could see that it is not such a bad thing. Most of the people at MRG were very welcoming and friendly; we were even lucky enough to have our picture taken by the Marketing Manager.
However, there were a few bitter souls who let us know how they realy fealt about our snowboarding. The most suprising skier vigilantees were the little kids. The 12 and under category was definitely not affraid to tell us to "go home" or to "get off their mountain." It seems strange that an 8 year old kid could have that much anger built up inside. Anyways, poaching Mad River Glen was an eye opening good time.
