Pumping and Thumping

11.12.07

Grant, Torrey and Joe headed down to New Hampshire Sunday morning for a surf. With a solid chill in the air we were expecting the surf to be on the small side and howling offshore winds. We were wrong. As the ocean came into view, an instant of shock and excitment came over us with the explosion of a large set rolling though. It was much larger than we anticipated with much lighter winds; pretty much perfect.

We proceded to surf all day at two different spots. We decided to pack it in around sun set, just as the swell seemed to be backing off. After a nice hot bowl of chowdah, we headed home.

Surfing and snowboarding in the same weekend, what more could we ask for?
